The OBD-II Smartbox and cable is a versatile tool that can be connected inline with your diagnostic tool, enabling the technician to monitor vehicle battery voltage, get a visual indication of vehicle network activity and have convenient access to OBD-II pins for DVOM measurements.

- Performs tests on all 16 pins of the OBD-II port for abnormalities caused by shorting and reverse polarity to avoid damage to your scan tool.
- Features a voltage display that sounds an alarm, alerting the technician if the voltage falls outside a certain range.
- Detects communication protocol, to detect which type of communication protocol the ECU is using.
- Break out box can be connected to your OBD-II compatible tools: such as scan tools, code readers, monitor readers or data loggers.
- Checks alternator condition for quick alternator charging checks during idling and high RPM conditions.
- Powers other devices and can be utilized as an additional power source for for other DC loads up to 5 Amps.
