The LFIM®-USA Li-Ion Fire Incident Mask Kit combines the LFIM®-USA Mask with thick, heat-resistant leather gloves in a carrying case with a quick release wall-mounted bracket. The LFIM Kit offers first responders and industrial / occupational fire teams equipment that is ready and easy to grab in case of a lithium-ion battery incident. The LFIM Mask offers 15 minutes of protection against gases, smoke, bursts of flames, and particles from exploding li-ion cells. The thick, heat-resistant leather gloves offer the ability to briefly handle low voltage li-ion cells that are heating up or at risk of thermal runaway. Or use the gloves as protection during extinguish attempt or placing an li-ion fire blanket over the cells in thermal runaway. The hard plastic carrying case comes with a bracket for wall mounting. The case is easy to remove from the wall-mounted bracket and carry to the location of the incident.

LFIM is not an SCBA or a protective device against all risks of a lithium-ion incident.

LFIM can be used for:

• Initial entry assessment at the doorway (evaluate conditions before deciding whether to proceed).
• Evacuation support.
• Support for attempt at extinguishment, isolation, or movement of hazard to a safe place if conditions are safe enough to do so.
• Single use only.

WARNING: LFIM Li-Ion Fire Incident Mask Kit is not a substitute for professional firefighting equipment such as SCBA and full protective clothing. Gloves provided in the kit are not suitable for high voltage or high capacity li-ion batteries; Use them only on small electronic equipment and li-ion cells with a voltage lower than 48 VDC. Damaged li-ion batteries are not safe to handle by hand.
